BACKGROUND:

Linda Ifeoma Ikeji was born on September 19, 1980. Hails from Nkwerre, Imo State, Nigeria. She grew up in a Catholic family that struggled to make ends meet. At the age of 10, Linda started writing as a hobby and continued to develop her skills as a writer throughout her teenage years.

EDUCATION:

Linda Ikeji attended Lagos State University (LASU) but dropped out in her second year due to financial difficulties. She later enrolled in the University of Lagos (UNILAG) and graduated with a degree in English Language.

In 2006, Linda Ikeji started her career as a blogger, using a sub-domain on blogger.com.

In addition to blogging, Ikeji ventured into other businesses, including online radio broadcasting, music platform, and social networking. She also launched a non-profit project themed “I’d rather be self-made; No thanks” which provided NGN10,000,000 to empower young women in Nigeria.

In 2023, Ikeji made her debut into the Nigerian film production, by producing her first movie titled Dark October which centered on the Aluu Four lynching story.

• She’s She has also been recognized by Google, as the name “Linda Ikeji” was the most searched item by users of Google in Nigeria.

FAMILY:

Linda Ikeji has a son, Jayce Ikechukwu Ikeji, whom she had with businessman Sholaye Jeremi. She also stated that they are not suitable partners.
